Synopsis: A letter from Dianne regarding changes to the terms and conditions of our commercial licenses.

Dear DJ Inker's Friends...

Let me start by saying how much we care about what we're creating and working on together. DJ Inker's has been in business for over 20 years and I believe it's because we listen to YOU (our customers) and do our best to address your ideas and concerns. It has come to my attention today that our commercial license users are confused and upset over some of the terms and conditions.

As we work to make commercial licensing work for all of us, please bear with me. It's a 'new' thing for me (and therefore DJ Inkers) and it has taken a lot to sort through the many details of creating a commercial license. We're always aiming for a win-win situation. Please know that for sure.

When we first released the license, the commercial licensing terms stated that: all projects using DJ Inkers posted for sale that year were 'covered' by the license indefinitely. For many reasons (that we won't go into here), we later changed the terms to say: you must renew every year for all projects using DJ Inkers to be sold under the license. Through listening to you, we better understand what your needs are as customers using our licenses, and realize that this change to our terms was not a good one for you.

That being said, we are asking for your understanding as we work through this and revert to the original terms of the commercial licenses. If you have purchased a license, your projects posted during that calendar year are covered with no renewal necessary. If you wish to post NEW projects after that year is up, you will need to renew your license... but all previous projects are covered.

Know that we will always respond to your questions and take your concerns very seriously. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions. We want you to smile when you think of DJ Inkers... and we want commercial licensing to be a good thing for all of us. (We will gladly email you a copy of the revised commercial licensing agreement if you need it. The updates will also be on our website. If, under these new/old terms, you have renewed unnecessarily, please contact us.)

Big HUGE thanks & smiles,

Dianne (& Crew)
